Join the FOLIO community
As an open-source tool created independent of corporate ownership, FOLIO relies on time and financial resources provided through membership. Membership dues cover expenses associated with a modern software project:
- Development and maintenance of the platform
- Operation of the cloud environment used for continuous integration/continuous delivery, which includes an environment for the community to demo and test FOLIO
- Software licenses (collaboration, testing, code quality, etc.) that are required for operating a project the scale of FOLIO
With a seat at the table, member organizations help drive roadmap and resource discussions within the community. Individuals from member organizations are elected to FOLIO councils where they help foster a healthy and productive community ecosystem through organization, communication and prioritization of FOLIO community needs.
