Service provider and consumer
Networks & Consortia offer a unique perspective to the conversations and activities within the FOLIO community. They are often responsible for operating as a Service Provider as well as a consumer of a Vendor’s services. Because of this duality they are able to contribute in ways like no other organization. They are able to bring their experience to the table to help shape functionality and implement solutions.
As with the other types of organizations that are collaborating in FOLIO, Networks & Consortia are able to gain much more from the work than simply furthering FOLIO’s functionality. Strong relationships and often new partnerships emerge.
